南韓民眾在12日發起史上規模最大的靜坐抗議，要求讓閨蜜干政的朴槿惠下台。南韓檢方13日表示，將訊問總統朴槿惠，她將成為南韓首位在任內遭檢方調查的總統。檢方日前也搜索三星集團辦公室，並約談多名財團負責人，調查是否提供朴槿惠不當資金。
據韓國媒體報導，去年7月朴槿惠曾邀17名財團總裁到青瓦台共進午餐，希望他們能提供企業捐款，當時與朴會面的現代汽車會長鄭夢九、韓進集團會長趙亮鎬、三星電子副會長李在鎔等財團負責人，近日已遭檢方已傳喚。報導並指出，朴槿惠與財團負責人會面，可能是要求捐款給崔順實的基金會，其中三星捐款的金額最為龐大。
朴槿惠的密友崔順實因干政及成立慈善基金會、將資金非法流向國外等罪名，遭檢方收押。檢方並懷疑財團的捐款實際上是捐給崔順實的基金會，做為崔順實女兒學習馬術的基金。檢方最遲將在20日正式起訴崔順實。
南韓民眾12日集結百萬人，上街抗議「閨蜜門」，這也是事件爆發以來第三次以及規模最大的一次。主辦單位表示，未來的每個周末都要在首爾舉辦燭光集會，一直到朴槿惠下台為止，然而初步觀察，朴槿惠並沒有辭職的打算，檢方將在本周二或周三，以關係人的身分訊問朴槿惠。
